Inducing Disruption

A collection of Tanka: 5-7-5-7-7

Disruption of life
Some folks call it suicide
Others think its right
When one makes the choice to die
Just for someone else to live

So you want to kill?
And you are ready for war
I must remind you
There is blood, pain, and death-stench
That you may never wash off

You saw me flying
Then you pulled my wings apart
And left me broken
Dismembered body and heart
Though left to die, still I fly

Frozen emptiness
The darkest regions of space
Nature's fertile soil
Dreams of life stir light and form
Shaping stars and galaxies

Inducing trance states
To motivate and improve
Belief enhancement
Profound dreams without sleeping
Visions of a better you
